The Association is a non-profit making association to:

• - Provide a forum for sharing information, skills and experience related to issues of human resources.
• - Raise and promote the standards of performance in Human Resources Management.
• - Provide a mean for further education and development of the members.
• - Present views of the Association, whenever necessary, to government, academic and other external parties.
• - Co-ordinate with other associations of Human Resources for the sharing of experiences and expertise.
