A luncheon talk was organized on October 12, 2012 and Mr. Joseph Chow, the renowned nutritionist was invited to deliver a speech called “Living a Healthy Life”. There were over 40 participants and many questions were raised about diet and health. Mr. Chow introduced how to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle through balanced diet, nutrients and exercises. Participants also learned from Mr. Chow by doing several simple exercises which could relieve joint or muscular pains commonly happened at work. The rapid development of our economy in the recent years has brought us work-life pressure, while many people dine at restaurants and do not do exercise which badly affect the health. Therefore, our Association hopes that this talk will help our members pay more attention to weight management, nutrients, and other health related issues, and they can share with their family and friends how to live a healthy life.
